Guest

can anyone help, as after loading about 6 products tonight, suddenly the 'click to enlarge' text is not linking or doing anything at all, when it was before.

I have replaced the product_info.php with the original one and still not working.

The pop up used to only ever show an image the same size anyway, so i need to find the answers to show large images in pop, but i dont even get any pop up now, nor does the text 'click to enlarge' even light up as a link?

Can anyone please help me.

Steve

From previous post you made yesterday, I see you having problems with the "Small, Medium, Large" contribution.

IMHO

I think you need to solve those problems on that contribution, or back it out and start from scrtach on the pop-up problem.

Perhaps a post in the contributions forum/section is in order here?

Pardon???

Actually i have just been back in and deleted my html that creates the bulleted two column frame for the product features, and it worked again.

So now i know what caused it to stop working, i need to know why, as it seems if a have text running down the page (which i was trying to prevent as there will be product description, features and also 8 drop down boxes for choices in product attributes - and customers are going to be scrolling forever)its ok.

But i was trying to save space and have 2 columns to shorten the list, and the only way i could do this neatly was in a table frame, so does the pop up window/javascript not like tables.

If this is the case it doesn't leave much room for designing!!!

Any ideas?

Not necessary thanks, do you not have any answers Oceanranch??

Tried the contrib, and to be honest, didnt work.

BUT

Have just sussed out a way to get it working without all that stuff.

Just load large image first, it reduces it for the standard image and uses full size for enlarge, there you go matey!

Im more interested in :

1. Why my frame screws up pop up link.

2. Also, if your watching my questions, then you'll see i need to sort out why total+shipping isn't all getting passed to Paypal for payment?

No one seems to have the answers.

Tried previous html but won't work now?

#2 - No problem, I normally don't check other's questions, but a few days ago alot of time was wasted because the poster did not indicate that they were using a STS contribution on this same issue of Click to Enlarge.

#1 - If can turn on Javascript console in your browser (Netscape) you might see an error when your running with you table frames. The anchor link to invoke the pop-up javascript function is just standard stuff, however you know how stuff happens.

only problem with having the large image as your main image is the amount of memory it takes up thus effecting load time.

better off having one of the image contribs which allow more than one size image.

Your online success is Paramount.
