osC_newb Posted March 9, 2004 Share Posted March 9, 2004 Hello, Is there a way for me to automatically set the price of an item. For example, I want to sell gift cards. The customer gets to choose the denomination (anything over $15 is fine). I tried the option feature type but I don't know how to tie the text entry into the price of the card. Do I set the card as 0.00 initially or 10.00 initially. Is it possible to change the price or does the price have to exist in the products table? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. ptrau Posted March 9, 2004 Share Posted March 9, 2004 set the product at the minimum price you sell gift cards for and then create attributes for the additional increments....$1, $5, $10...whatever. If the gift card is the same as an online gift certificate, you need to check out the GVCC contribution. That will make it admin driven. "Aliiiiive, it's alive, it's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!"
