how is the product page displayed & why I'm asking

I don't know much about OSC or PHP, but I am doing my best to read and learn! But, in the meantime, I'm having difficulty understanding exactly which files go into making up the HTML page that I see in my browser when looking at a product in my store. I know that these pages are made dynamically, but how do I determine which files create which part?

 

Here is what I am interested in doing:

 

I want to add some information *after* the "add to cart" button. Now, if I wanted to make this additional information attached to the product description itself, well, I can do that. BUT, I'm thinking that I will need to pull in another file somehow, and have that displayed under the buttons.

 

Advice? Help? Please?
