Guest
Does anyone have a guide on installing MySQL?? I have downloaded the current release and installed but would like people's input on the changes made to the files required. I am doing a standard C:\MySQL install and running IIS on Windows 2000. Any help is great. Craig...

♥kymation
The easiest way to do this is to install a complete development system. I used phpdev, which installs Apache, PHP, and MySQL and configures everything to work together. The download site is http://firepages.com.au/. This is running fine on my Win2k box, so it should work on XP as well. There is at least one other package that others have used successfully, but I'm afraid that I didn't bookmark it. A search of the forum might turn up some useful suggestions as well. Regards Jim See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.
