SSL Setup and Config

Although I am sure that this has been asked a kazillion times but alas, I cannot find the answer.

 

I am using Authorize.net for my cc transactions, which is secure. The problem is that my store claims that I am NOT using an SSL connection. I am confused.

 

When I attempt a trial transaction, the CC information requested is infact entered on my site, so I know that I must be secure and I am not.

 

The question is;

 

Is there a thread or FAQ that tells me the EXACT procedures to make this work correctly? Reinstalling the store is not an option so I would like someone to PLEASE tell me here or via email ([email protected]) as the the exact procedures that I must to to make this thing secure, in laymans terms.
