chilly
My store is on a shared server and I have recently had a couple of e-mails like this: "I have just placed an order with yourselves. Shortly after placing this order, I have received a call from someone who advised me that my personal and order details were available to him on his computer. He said that this did not include my payment card details. Is this likely to be because the store is on a shared server? The only thing I can think of that may have caused this problem is that I backed up and restored the database using a .txt file dumped from mySQL Administrator in my web hosts control panel. dconway
Well, you can see I have searched going on the age of the original post :D We have experienced this twice in as many months where a new customer goes to create an account and OSC "thinks" they are an existing customer, I got this earlier tonight: why is my account showing a bill for someone called ******* in Bolton? order number is 6214 - I hope this transaction is not being charged to my credit card. Please contact me to clarify the situation. On both occasions it was orders placed within a couple of hours of each other. Both users on the same ISP with dynamic IP addys ? :'( We do have a semi redundant OSCNUKE version running on the same server :o Main site - www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk OSC site - http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/ Sorry if this has been answered previously and TIA Dave.
