I got a similar problem installing a Swedish language pack and checked the Default language box *smile* I had to force back the language by inserting ?language=en after /index.php :D

Guest
You wrote something about : includes/languages/.php it should sat something like: includes/languages/SWEDISH.php if you for example installed a Swedish languagepack... try editing the language section in your Admin panel and define the true path :) or even check if the language is installed and nobody deleted it just for fun. Cheers.
