Guest
Hi Folks, I've done my best to search for clues here but "elements outside the shop" and "components displayed in content" yeald no results ;( I have an osC shop running OK. What I want to do now though, is to drop certain elements of that shop into the other pages on the site. For example, I want to have the top menu with "Top ? Catalog My Account | Basket Contents | Checkout " in it. Initially I thought this would just be a case of copying the HTML into my content pages, but there is some session managementy stuff going on in the background, which I will somehow need to copy over. Also I'd like left and right columns to be part of some of my pages. Am I missing something really obvious here :) ? Please tell me if I am! Guest
Sorry; another alternative : how easy is it to add pages to the system like privacy policy? It occurs to me I could turn this around; make the whole thing run "inside OScommerce" rather than try and link from outside it... AJ

All you need to do is read/search the Forum when needed and refer to the "Collaborative Documentation Effort" - link at the top of this page. Almost every question has been asked and answered previously. Good luck.

You can do that with "Include HTML and Text Boxes", http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1572.
Guest
Many thanks to both of you. I have sorted it using OScommerce as my 'ordinary page' basis. It seems to work nicely! Cheers/ AJ.
