tanneuby
I do event photography and post the pics on my website, which is a Linux server, for customers to browse. I just handle orders through email now. I would like to get more automated and get an order form page for my web site, but I am finding it rather difficult. I just want a form that clients can type in the image numbers they want and then have some drop down fields with the size's/prices. I want it to total the order and add tax and shipping costs. I also want it to be linked to a database for tracking expense, profit, tax reasons. I am not sure how it works, if it is automated or not, but I would not mind a shopping cart type feature either. Where if you click on a thumbnail of a pic, the larger pic pops up with some selections, like size/quantity and an "add to cart" button. I create my web photo galleries with Photoshop and some events could have upwards of 500 pics posted. Is OScommerce something that could work for me? I do have one resource to help, that being my fiancee. She has a degree in Management Information Systems. She is now back in school to learn web developement programming. She stated she is going to be covering PHP and MYsql this month. I apologize if this has been covered before, I did some searching, but could not find the right answers. If it has, please point me to some threads. Thank you, Terry

burt
You could just install it and try it. It costs nothing.
