Any time you order an item, it adds 3 pounds to it in both usps and ups. For example, a pin that is .6 pounds is showing up as 3.6 pounds, etc. This is charging the user at LEAST 5 dollars. TerryK Posted March 5, 2004 Share Posted March 5, 2004 Go into the Admin section of your shop: Store configuration -> Shipping & Packaging -> Package Tare weight It's defined by default as 3 pounds. Change it to whatever your typical packaging (box, envelope, etc.) weighs. (Note: this is the price of just the packaging -- does not include the weight of whatever products are being ordered.)
