mazza
www2.voimaharjoittelu.net Major contributions installed: - BTS - Master -Slave products - Infobox admin - Articles Manager - and dozens of smaller enhancements. The main priorities were SEO, speed, usability and compliancy with the relevant W3C standards. Tables are used only where it would require an rewrite of logic in boxes.php. Live site, so please no test orders :) "Use no way as way, have no limitation as limitation." - Bruce Lee
zoomer
Wow that's alot of work. I started to change my site to XHTML but figured it would take forever. OSC is a mess of nested tables and spacer images. Makes it very hard to work with. Very nice job. You need to release this so that others can build on your effort. mazza
That would be alot of work. Mainly because of the contributions added. But the XHTML/CSS work was not that hard. At least when using BTS ( http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1263 ) they already have an CSS/XHTML layout. Not the layout I used though. tim_o_boy
To be honest, I don't think the design is great, but if you're covering "compliancy with the relevant W3C standards" I think it's a step in the right direction. (But a quick check with W3C shows that your home page is not valid XHTML 1.0)
zoomer
He does say that there are tables still mixed in which will not be compliant. But with some effort they could be altered to be compliant. I was referring to the XHTML conversion as being great.Tthe sites sort of boring. But with the groundwork layed you could really spice it up with little effort. And changing layout will be a breeze when its 100% compliant.
tums
Hej You have a problem with Swedish Language support, if you select it and then go for "Frakt & Returer" you will get an error message. Another problem is that you get a mixed Swedish/English site when running the Sedish language but i guess you are already aware of that. Good Luck!! misohoni
perhaps spice it up with a little colour - black and white and grey aren't exactly appealing! Page is too long, put the new products at the top. Could the display images have a border around them? Check out my own Oscommerce page - www.misohoni.com/catalog/ Good luck with it!
