dukeleto
I use this program to create cgi scripts: http://www.editplus.com/ Is this also the best one to use to edit my oscommerce php files, or do those files need to be actually edited 'online'. I'm about to get right into creating a shopping cart for an existing html stie. I see you have to change the permissions and ownership of a lot of the files, can this be done using CuteFTP that I upload them with as well? And finally, If I dont want to have credit card payments in my shopping cart, can it be configured so it just mails me the details of the order and I contact them with the payment options... AlanR
1) Any good editor will be fine. 2) You only have to change permissions on a couple of files/directories CuteFTP should do that OK 3) Yep. Just use the C.O.D. or Check/Prepay options.
