ultratom Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 My client wants to skip the 'Delivery Information' in the shopping process as the products are just downloads. Is it possible to by pass this section or will it affect the rest of the shopping cart process? TIA Tom
ptrau Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 disable all shipping options in your modules config in the admin section "Aliiiiive, it's alive, it's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!"
ultratom Posted March 4, 2004 Author Posted March 4, 2004 Thanks ptrau. Worked fine. :) Only thing is it leaves the shopping process link at the bottom: Delivery Information - Payment Information - Confirmation - Finished! Seems like I might have to go through the code and comment out that Delivery Information.
ultratom Posted March 5, 2004 Author Posted March 5, 2004 I have disabled the Shipping Options under Admin > Modules > Shipping. However, Delivery Information page (checkout_shipping.php) still appears. I thought I had it working yesterday, either it has reappeared or it was always there. Is there something else I need to do to make sure the Delivery Ino (Shipping) page is totally skipped in the shopping process? TIA
ultratom Posted March 5, 2004 Author Posted March 5, 2004 OK it's working again. I re-installed the Shipping Module, then Removed it. Odd, seems to me that OSC seems to come and go as it's chooses. Surely it can't be me ;)
ultratom Posted March 5, 2004 Author Posted March 5, 2004 Actually, I was wrong. It's not back. If you removed the shipping modules then it does remove the Delivery Information page for New Accounts only. If I log in as an Existing Customer then it still presents that screen! Any ideas?
ultratom Posted March 5, 2004 Author Posted March 5, 2004 I am even more wrong now! The Delivery Info page is back on the New Account Signup process now too. I have no idea what is going on, it ssems OSC keeps bringin the Shipping module back. Might try to delete the module files.
playerx Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Anyone have any luck figuring out why its still there for existing customers?
