zpeedfreak Posted March 3, 2004 Share Posted March 3, 2004 For some reason every product that weighs around 130lbs+ I have creates an error in the 'Shipping Method' section of the 'Delivery Information' of the check out process. Here is the basic error: United Parcel Service An error occurred with the UPS shipping calculations. The requested service is invalid from the selected origin. If you prefer to use UPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. I also have the setting for 'Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship' in the 'Shipping/Packaging' section of my store's 'Configuration' at 500 and it still doesn't mater. Is this just the MAX the UPS will ship? If so is there a way I can hide the UPS error when the product weighs in excess to show an alternative shipping option? What do Oscom sites do when shipping products that weigh 100-200lbs when I still want to use the UPS module for the other products that weigh less that 100lbs?
