Path error on installation

I installed osCommerce via the Fantastico control panel my host utilizes, problem is the folder name on the site seems to be missing in the config somewhere, all my pages work but none of the images or links work because the url is being replaced with this:

<INSTALLDIRSLASH>admin/configuration.php?

instead of:

gear/admin/configuration.php?

Any ideas where I input the proper path for all the files?

look at both your catalog/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php files

No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided.  Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===]
If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much! :P

Is your Osc dated try Phoenix  raising oscommerce from the ashes.

G'day steve,

Do you know if /includes/configure.php can handle an installation on a subdomain "root" (not /catalog/ directory), and where the SSL cert is also on a sub-domain?

Example:

Script on

shop.domain.com (ie domain.com/shop/)

and SSL cert on

secure.domain.com (ie domain.com/secure/)

If it is possible, do you know if there are any docs anywhere to show how this can be achieved?

We've installed it this way but have two known 404 error outputs thus far.

Appreciate your input.

Ulysses
