mallory885
I am creating a site that has new and refurbished items. In the thumbnail and the detail listing the client wants to have 2 prices . 1 for refurbished and 1 for the new product. If they are in the New item then there would basically be text that says "buy this item refurbished" which would link to the refurbished item. and Vice Versa. I hope this makes sense. Is there any add ons whereas this has already been done. thanks TM
ptrau
You can do it one of two ways. 1) hardcode each link to the refurb items (major pain in the ***) 2) Add the refurbished product as an "Attribute" to the "New" product. That will add a dropdown box to the item allowing the consumer to select the "refurb" item and reflect the change in price. I highly recommend that you use the contribution that shows the actual price of the attribute in the dropdown. Otherwise, OSC will just show it as a "+" or "-" cost which I have found to be confusing to the customer. "Aliiiiive, it's alive, it's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!"
