Ayesha Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 So I've installed osCommerce and gone through configuration ok. Accessed the index page ok and everything works. Uploaded the sts files as per instructions. Modified the /catalog/includes/configure.php page. And get the following error when trying to access the the index.php page. Fatal error: Failed opening required 'STS_START_CAPTURE' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/domain/public_html/madonna/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 511 So, where did I go wrong please? Ayesha Posted March 3, 2004 Author Share Posted March 3, 2004 Surely someone has seen this before. I've run through the installation 4 times on 2 different servers and get the same error every time. OSC runs fine and I can view and configure the shop no problem, until I install STS, strictly according to the instructions, when it all falls over. Doesn't this error mean anything to anyone??? Ayesha Posted March 3, 2004 Author Share Posted March 3, 2004 Really must get out of the habit of replying to my own posts, but in the absense of any other responses : I downloaded STS V2.01 again but from the alternative source and it now works ok on my local server (Apache on Mac OSX 10.2.8). I'll try it on the remote server later. Perhaps a file or two was corrupted in the original zip file. Now that I've seen it working I agree with others in that it's a useful addition to osCommerce.
