I'm definitely a newbie with this program. Unfortunately, I am using the install that came with my hosting at ipower, so it seems my access to certain files is limited. Most of my images in the admin area dont' load and it seems the path to the images is wrong. When I right click the broken image to see the path, I see this:

http://rare-cameras.com/catalog/images/canonFinal.jpg

The path is supposed to be:

http://rare-cameras.com/ipw-web/ecommerce/.../canonFinal.jpg

Anyone know how I can change this? Thanks...

you can change the paths in the configure.php files there is one in catalog/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php

use an ftp program such as ws_ftp to download the files and edit offline as the online file manager can cause issues when edit is done online

you can post your configure.php files here for us to look over for you and amend but if you do this xxx out the database password

Thanks. I was afraid that was what I needed to do. I access the OS files through the admin panel of my host, iPowerWeb, and they don't give access to the config files. I just emailed their support to see if they can give me access. There are some pretty cool things about iPowerWeb, but restricting access like this seems to be a deal breaker for me.
