Problem with checkout using SSl

Hi everyone,

 

I have this problem :

 

I have enabled SSL checkout to process Visa/MC card. When the customer want to get to the checkout process, they are in the shopping_cart.php and they click on "Checkout" but, when the login.php page show, the shopping cart has lost all it content. This do not happen when ssl is disable.

 

Somebody know if there is a patch or a solution for this?

Try turning off SSL for now, until you hook up with a certificate supplier.

 

Change SSL from true to false in order for .php files to work, note, fix is to

buy certification certifcate to re-enable SSL

I made the same mistake. I enabled SSL without having a certificate. I understand I need to turn it off by changing true to false but where do I make that change? Yes, I'm a newbie to all of this. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You will need to edit the two configure.php files, one is in catalog and the other is in admin.
