mbrunst
This is the error that my users are getting when they confirm their order and attempt to process thier credit card. There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again.<br>The Zip code you entered does not match the U.S. State indicated OR you have entered a non-US state and need to enter the appropriate country. Please check these fields and try again. (error code 3020). I have been processing their orders manually but man does that suck. :(
bloodshoteyes
Well, this sounds like the data your customers are entering into the system is not being sent to your credit card processor properly. What CC mod are your using???

bloodshoteyes
I think that you need to talk to your portal to find out in what form do they need the state in. Some companies used the standard abbreviations others use full spelling. The error you are getting is most likely from an apples and oranges thing between your system and thiers. If you have to convert it it really much of a problem..
mbrunst
What do most of the user use for their gateway? This IMS company seems to be jerking us around.
bloodshoteyes
There are quite a few really good ones. The important thing is cost and ease of use from your stand point. I suppose it matters is your customers hyperlink to another checkout page or stays in your cart. I have heard that sometimes problems arise by customers not completing the checkout from an off cart credit card proccessing, creating some data loss and extra work. I personally can't recommend anyone in particular, cause I don't have the volumn to warrant it yet. But I would think that anyone willing to work with me, who has the right rates, and software compatable would be a major player.. Shop around, in the past few years I have negotiated from 1.8 to .7 on credit cards and .18 cent per on atm cards, in my store.....

mbrunst
The programmer of the payment mod has fixed the error. The ISO country code was the problem. In 2.2 the country code was replaced with country of origin and a pulldown box. The programmer removed the ISO check and it is now working.
