I cant find any thing on adding the cc id number

I would like the coustermer to add the little four diget number on the back credit card i dont know what its called th vid number or somthing can any one help me do this i am sure i will have to add to the database and create a new little entry box on the payment.php and i am not sure how to do this any help would be great

if this is already posted sorry tell me where or a contrib any thing thanks a lot
