no idea
Coming to the conclusion that I don't know how to setup my config files, paths, database entry etc. A sample print out of php.ini, apache and the 2 configure files would help me greatly, even thou your paths are not the same as mine I could see how its entered for comparison. Iam using windows xp, and the latest vers of php, mysql, apache need help
bloodshoteyes
Well the help you need is in the install section of wiki documentation.. Its not a manual but it has tons of info. Just remember to load the files into the %systemroot% The loader software is almost foolproof. I got tell you, I'm a newbie newbie to php, mysql and apache and I got it done in one shot. Just follow the wiki installation documents step by step and you should have a flawless install and configuration. no idea
I have followed wiki's install and all other install instructions in detail 100 times over, and the program still hangs on step 2, half of a screen being diplayed trying to import and create database file. Most of the support is based on unix or mixed, and iam using win xp. Everything seems to be working other than the ((basic config or oscommerce)). Iam guessing its a problem with the config files as thats all thats left to look at. Iam not sure how to enter the data into the config files, if anyone can display some path entires so i can cross check from there, or any other help would be apreaciated. I would like to see a section just for windows user support. Thanks Still Need help
