241
you have no catalog server defined define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', ''); also you may require to place absolute paths define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs) and define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', 'catalog/'); this should be define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); and this define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://ncccurdu1/'); should be define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://ncccurdu1'); No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided. Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===] If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much! wizardsandwars
You cant' have your 'HTTP_SERVER' on theinternet, and your 'DIR_WS_ADMIN' on your c drive ( 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\catalog\admin') Is this installed locally, or on a web server? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help. Colin
I, too, am running Windows. I run Apache 2.0. You can try changing your DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT and DIR_FS_ADMIN to something similar to the following I use in another distribution.. define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', 'C:/apache2/HTDOCS/catalog/'); // where the pages are located on the server define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', 'C:/apache2/HTDOCS/catalog/admin/'); // absolute pate required
yates197
Cool that was a big help. but I still have one issue. Shipping and Order total all show fine with modules to install, but payment does not. I now see the modules available but the install button does not show. Any ideas? I ahve attached the config file for admin directory for review. <?php /* $Id: configure.php,v 1.14 2003/02/21 16:55:24 dgw_ Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright © 2002 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // define our webserver variables // FS = Filesystem (physical) // WS = Webserver (virtual) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://ncccurdu1'); // eg, http://localhost or - https://localhost should not be NULL for productive servers define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://ncccurdu1'); define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', ''); define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); // secure webserver for catalog module define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', 'c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/'); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. Colin
that sounds like a permissions problem to me..
Colin
no wait.. I would go into your database (phpMyadmin is my favorite program to use) and manually remove the modules in the configuration table.. then go back into the admin panel.. they may show up then.. Colin
err.. addendum to that last post.. edit rows 67, 68, 69 which are Installed Modules rows.. clear the configuration_value fields..
