you have no catalog server defined

define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', '');

also you may require to place absolute paths

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs)

and

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN);
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);

 define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', 'catalog/');

this should be

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

and this

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://ncccurdu1/');

should be

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://ncccurdu1');

You cant' have your 'HTTP_SERVER' on theinternet, and your 'DIR_WS_ADMIN' on your c drive ( 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\catalog\admin')

Is this installed locally, or on a web server?

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.

I, too, am running Windows. I run Apache 2.0.

You can try changing your DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT and DIR_FS_ADMIN to something similar to the following I use in another distribution..

  define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', 'C:/apache2/HTDOCS/catalog/'); // where the pages are located on the server
 define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', 'C:/apache2/HTDOCS/catalog/admin/'); // absolute pate required

Cool that was a big help. but I still have one issue. Shipping and Order total all show fine with modules to install, but payment does not. I now see the modules available but the install button does not show. Any ideas? I ahve attached the config file for admin directory for review.

no wait..

I would go into your database (phpMyadmin is my favorite program to use) and manually remove the modules in the configuration table.. then go back into the admin panel.. they may show up then..

I have deleted and recreated the database. The proble still remains.

I have removed and reinstalled the cart and the problem remains. THe only constant in this procees is my retaining the config file posted earlier. Any one else wanna give it a try.
