This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. can anyone tell me what file i need to chmod and to what permissions to set them to please? I've tried 600 and 777 but no joy

Why is it impossible to get that pink failure message off. i have tried to change configure.php 1000 times. Nothing changes, i just did a simple backup from my old catalog and now that message, Potential security risc rocks up everytime... Please help...
freddan Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 And how did you get it fixed. This is a forum my friend and not a "Takers heaven".-. Share your solutions please-.... :o
detsouvalas Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 Well, I'm sorry, but the solution to this error message seems obvious .. you have to make the file read-only, so follow the instructions of your server's Operating System or make it through your FTP software! And if you don't know how this works for the given operating system, the only old-good solution, which helps almost always, is RTFM!! Antonios Antonios
