Hello,

I 'll want to install an other oscommerce in my webhost.

I know that i'll have to copy the script in an other repertory but about the database ?

My webhost authorizes just one database !! How to change the table ? and what table changing ? Does exists a module ?

Thanks for helping,

hi,

If your hosts only allow you one SQL database then I think you are stuck into using the same records, I suppose in my minds eye i can see you re-writing the database to accomadate this but it also means re-writing all the PHP in your second catalog, i for sure would not like to try it!!

there is a contribution, as well as a thread on using one database, i know part of what is required, is changing some items in databases.php file, adding a prefix there and in other respective files, that way you can run as many stores as you want off just one databae. of course, you would need separate filders for the application itself, they can not be named the same.
