Product Images coming and going

Ok, this one is really getting to me. My client has about 600 products in the database and in the product list, a handful of items are not displaying the thumbnail. So you go to check it in the admin system and you see the image, so you go back to the consumer side and refresh the page, and, whats this, the image appears now. However, log out, close your browser, come back and the images are missing again.

 

I have disabled the OSC Cache

I have disabled the mySQL Cache

I have checked my browser's cache and set it to not cache

 

However, the problem still happens. An example of this can be seen here:

Every product in the database has an associated image with it and has been verified via the admin system by me (since I dont trust my client).

 

I could really use a few pointers on this one. Thanks.
