saklay Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Hi Guys, There were a few bugs I've encountered during the checkout process. I'm just a newbie with osCommerce so I'm really not sure what causes this. 1) After clicking the "Checkout" button, I signed in as a new user. I was able to successfully register then it redirected me to this page: How is it that the Shipping Address field is missing? Shouldn't it automatically appear since I filled out the registration form properly? 2) On this page, I clicked "Change Address" and brought me to this page. Now I have selected which shipping address I want the product I bought be sent to. I guess this is fine but it's one step more than what it should be. 3) After selecting the correct shipping address, it pointed me to this page. Now, the Billing Address is missing. Is this a standard for osCommerce's checkout process? I've also noticed that under the table customers, the value for the column customers_default_address_id are all 1. Is this also correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Arnel
VideoDude Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Arnel, That's a great post! I'm having the same problem. This is just a "bump" to see if anyone has any suggestions. Anyone???
HQ Secure Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 I can't believe somone did such a great job describing a prob. I ran into. This occured when I installed 2.2 and imported the database from an older install. PHPMyAdmin shows the customer info is in the address book, the customers table and the order table (sans the address). For some reason the address insn't getting posted to the order table. The order table DOES get the billing info, but not the customer info or shipping info. ?Flash
