Guest Posted February 24, 2004 Share Posted February 24, 2004 It seems a little too 'busy' to me - too many things going on and too croweded. The animated header at the top doesn't look professional. The scrolling ticker in the status bar at the bottom is a little distracting as well. You seemed to have a consistent color scheme going until I expanded one of the categories. The page that lists the products has white and blue in it which stands out a lot from the rest of your setup. Also, all the 'default' buttons - add to cart, reviews, buy now, etc - are still the same - blue. You should definitely create your own custom images and replace the current ones with those. However I agree that the blue buttons and the blue background on the product pages need to go. They really stand out and look like a mistake. You can change the product background on the stylesheet and there is someone who has a button contribution that has buttons in a lot of colors if you don't want to take the time now to make buttons. TerryK Posted February 26, 2004 Share Posted February 26, 2004 I don't mind the color scheme, but am really not fond of your animated header -- it moves too quickly, it makes me dizzy, and I think it looks too unprofessional given the nice looking products you appear to have to offer. The balance of your site definitely fits your theme -- it's just the header I find so distracting.
