I have edited and added a couple of items and setup currency and taxes ok. Each time I use a .php editor to try and edit the default page to reflect a the standard login and register page and then a couple lines, and then the products (pictures) I screw it up, can some kind soul please help and advise What is the best way to edit .php pages ??? also is index.php the only part I need to edit on the front page. Guest Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 1) http://wiki.oscommerce.com/docsCat, look for the Style/Layout section and below. 2) It doesn't matter which editor you use, unless that particular editor tries to do things for you automatically - - that can mess it up. Personally, I have used vi, notepad, wordpad, crimson editor, and a few others. If you can show us the specific errors you get, we can help. -jared
