Guys,

If you vist my page http://www.rivieracomputersystems.co.uk/eshop ... you will notice the default page. I have edited and added a couple of items and setup currency and taxes ok. Each time I use a .php editor to try and edit the default page to reflect a the standard login and register page and then a couple lines, and then the products (pictures) I screw it up, can some kind soul please help and advise

What is the best way to edit .php pages ??? also is index.php the only part I need to edit on the front page.

I would like my site to be similar to this site in terms of layout

1) http://wiki.oscommerce.com/docsCat, look for the Style/Layout section and below.

2) It doesn't matter which editor you use, unless that particular editor tries to do things for you automatically - - that can mess it up. Personally, I have used vi, notepad, wordpad, crimson editor, and a few others.

If you can show us the specific errors you get, we can help.

The site you want to look like is using a contribution or twelve, one of which is featured products, they have also removed the column_right.php from index.php
