mark27uk3 Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Hi Guys, I am interested in buying a template for osc from a certain templates site, how easy would it be to convert the files to be used with osc? The reason I am asking is because the guys who run the site want to charge me $350 to convert them, the price of the actual template is only about $10. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx Mark Lifes a bitch, then you marry one, then you die!
mark27uk3 Posted February 22, 2004 Author Posted February 22, 2004 I guess no-one knows then! Lifes a bitch, then you marry one, then you die!

detsouvalas Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 I am interested in buying a template for osc from a certain templates site, how easy would it be to convert the files to be used with osc? Excuse my ignorance, but ... you want to buy a template for osC and convert it to be used with osC?? Why convert it if it is already for osC?? Anyway, by adding a template contribution to the osC and with a bit of basic HTML coding, I think you can do a lot of things by yourself! burt Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 That price seems a little low. It is not difficult to integrate any design into Oscommerce, but it is time consuming.
mark27uk3 Posted February 23, 2004 Author Posted February 23, 2004 Sorry Guys, I forgot to say that the templates are supplied in photoshop format. I dont have a copy of photoshop and I dont particularly want to go the expense of buying it if I dont have to. Regards Mark Lifes a bitch, then you marry one, then you die!

Regards Mark If you want to work with psd files without spending a lot of money try going to GIMP. The interface takes some getting used to, at least it did for me but the price is right. The other option is to get a slightly older version on ebay as 5.0 is going for around $30 and if all you are going to do is modify some files to your particular store that should work just fine. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
