Resetting #### Users Since Date

this is an entry in the database sql so it is in the sql that the change requires to be made

Is your Osc dated try Phoenix  raising oscommerce from the ashes.

Hello,

If what you mean is that you need to change the footer text that displays ###### requests since Saturday 12 July, 2003 , then what you need to do is reset the date in the table osc_counter , what you need to reset is the column startdate .

Yes, that is what I mean, thank you so much! But now I have looked for table osc_counter and I cannot locate it. Can you please be more specific? How do I find it and how do I "reset" it?

using phpMyadmin select the database, select counter, select browse, select edit, enter the information and select go to save

- But "users since" is not really users since xxx. Everytime you swap to another page on the site, the counter will increase +1. Is there any solution to change that condition?

This standard counter is similar to counters we was using ten years ago. There must be a better one today, only counting +1 by each visitor.
