Setting up the SSL connection

I finally got my sotre installed... When I click "my account" or "register" from the site catalog, it tries to go into the https:// and results in a 404 error. What do I have to do to clear up this problem?

Hi,

It sounds as if the catalog/includes/configure.php has the wrong settings in it.

open it up and set the value "enable ssl" to false and try again, if this works then the https urls are wrong.

Okay... this worked but how do I get my site to enable ssl? I know my host supports it - but what do I have to do to make it work?

Is it a shared ssl on your own server, or is it some where else ?

you need to check with your host regarding the proper path to the SSL site.

I am the hosting the site. Unfortunately I don't know enough about SSL and all, so the more someone can elaborate the better off I am.
