Potential Security Risk Warning - need help

I just installed this shopping cart. So I will have lots and lots of questions for you guys and gals. Here's my first one. At the top of my page, I have this warning, how do I fix it?

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/******/public_html/Shop/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

Thanks!

Oh no, not another one! :)

You just need to change the permissions on your shop/includes/configure.php and the same in admin/includes/configure.php to 644 or 444. You can do this by using CHMOD in your FTP program or if you have CPanel by clicking on the file in File Manager and select "change permissions" and then just change the file permissions.

What do you mean "Oh no, not another one!" LOL!!

I am so extremely tired now. I'll get back on here tomorrow and give this a try!! Sounds simple enough and I really appreciate your help.

Just kidding around of course. Always great to see new people. Funny thing was an hour or so ago I was having flashbacks of when I first downloaded this "thing" and was scared to death to even open the database for fear of "corrupting it". I think I didn't even install any contribution that dealt with a change to the DB for like a month before I got brave enough to start messing with things a bit. Boy am I glad that I did now, as with time this cart becomes quite a bit more simple to deal with and rather difficult to really screw up. :o You can also look here to get a bit of help on finishing up the installation, etc. look around a bit in wiki and you will find lots of helpful information.

Well fart! I go to my cpanel, click on the shop folder, includes, then configure, and 6 4 4 is already in there, so I put in 4 4 4 and click on change, and it won't change. It stays 6 4 4. I tried it on the other folder as well and the same thing. Do I have to check or uncheck one of the boxes that say User Group or World?

Nevermind!! I figured it out. I had to uncheck the write box and it automatically changed to 4 4 4!!
