Guest Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Hello all My client wants to add a donation section to his site and wants that to be automated through the oscommerce shopping cart to be re-routed to his online payment system. Since the focus will be on donations and very few fixed priced products, visitors would input how much they want to donate and that would supposedly be added to the shopping cart. Is there a way to create a field that would allow the visitor to add how much he/she wants to donate? Also, is there a way to create a minimum amount to be paid or bought? All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
bravejoey Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 How about a $0 item, and using attributes to specify the amount?
Chris Dunning Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I created something for a client that you could possibly use as a base to build off of - it allows the customer to bid on a product and only check out if his price is high enough. I haven't packaged it up as a contribution yet, but you can PM me if you want and I'll send you the files. Chris Dunning osCommerce, Contributions Moderator Team Please do not send me PM! I do not read or answer these often. Use the email button instead! I do NOT support contributions other than my own. Emails asking for support on other people's contributions will be ignored. Ask in the forum or contact the contribution author directly.

CRR Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 If nothing else, it might give you some ideas. Yay? Nay? *shrug* :) Thanks for the ideas!! It's been a while since you posted and I did go to your website and created an account and worked my way through to just before checkout. But wouldn't you do a $1 item??? CRR
