airolg Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 I know that it's in with the newsletter as part of the drop-down menu, so you can send a newsletter or a product notification so I'm assuming it's a manual thing. I couldn't find a place to see the newsletter subscribers, (although when you send one it tells you how many subscribers you have) so I'm thinking there is not a way to see the product notification details either. I may have disabled it at some point because I didn't feel I had any way of controlling it, so don't quote me on whether it's automatic or manual. I just wanted you to know where I found it in the admin. If you discover anything new, please share, I'd love to use this as a marketing tool to encourage return shoppers. :)
radders Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 Glo is correct. At some point I seem to have loaded up a contribution which converts it to html. Not sure if that is a good idea though. Until last month I used to bin all html e-mail automatically. I think you get a final chance to see how many subscribers you are sending it to before you hit 'send' again
