HELP IWTH ATTRIBUTE IMPORT

Without very good docs on easypopulate's attribute import section, i come to you for assistance.

 

Does anyone who has an active store, who sells clothing, with attributes for color and size variations, have a portion of their flat file i could use as a giude? a few lines of the text file would be fine.

take a look at the attributes you have listed, and in the column to the left, if there is something there, ie price, etc then that attribute is assigned to that product

I have no attributes to speak of, as i have jsut finished doing all the other fields in the flat file. Do i have to create them all in the admin or as i thought does easypopulate create them on the fly from the column contents in the flat file?

 

if the latter is the case, do i make a new column for each attribute?

 

say for instance i have a skirt that comes in three colors and 6 sizes, do i make a column for each, or put all the sizes in one colum and xcolors in another. the docs are not very clear....really would love to see someones flat file that actually sells cloths.
