Strange problem with links in products_new.php

When a user is logged in, and they try to browse the new products, they are offered the folowing choices:

 

Result Pages: 1 2 3 [Next >>]

 

1 obviously being the page they are on to start with. The problem is, no matter what they press, be it 2, 3, or Next, the page remains on 1. but the link for which ever page you are trying to access is added to the URL. For example:

 

http://127.0.0.1/test/sales/nfoscomm/catalog/products_new.php?osCsid=37c02195d03fbbfca5b667ccfda64a64?page=2&osCsid=37c02195d03fbbfca5b667ccfda64a64?page=3&osCsid=37c02195d03fbbfca5b667ccfda64a64?page=2&osCsid=37c02195d03fbbfca5b667ccfda64a64

 

Happens when you try to first hitting Next, then 3 then 2. How do I stop this and get it to actually go to the correct page?
