LincsIT Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 Hi again, This is my main and most serious problem. I am using OSC MS2.2 with the Protx_Form contribution. Protx is working an absolute dream with no effort but I have a problem with my OSC installation. When items are purchased you can checkout with no errors or problems, the Protx form appears, you fill in card details and the auth. goes through OK. When attempting to return to the store OSC returns a 404 error. This is because it is setting the return link wrong, the page name it uses has a missing _ from it. I have narrowed it down to the 3 options of Pending, Processing and Delivered in the Protx settings in the Admin panel. I have tonight completely re-installed a freshly downloaded version of OSC MS2.2 and the latest Protx_Form contrib, to no avail. The errors still persist and I know it is definitely the OSC script now. Sorry this is long-winded but I had to explain as fully as possible after spending an hour on the phone with Protx tech support. I hope someone can help soon! :( Cheers, Bret Bret Inexperienced PHP User but will try anything for a laugh!
LincsIT Posted February 19, 2004 Author Posted February 19, 2004 It seems that a couple of people are now having problems with the Protx module in this version. I think my particular problem is the OSC script still though, I forgot to mention but it doesn't only enter an incorrect URL it also mixes the case of the URL for example: wWw.lincs-it.cO.uk/eshop/checkOutprocess.php It should be www.lincs-it.co.uk/eshop/checkout_process.php I hope that jogs someones memory who may have seen this problem before. LincsIT Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 Mmm... 6 days later and down on page 20 something! I though it was a rule to not bump your own topic? If that is the case we would never get our OS Commerce stores working. I think I have probably lost more money in 6 days than it would have cost me to buy an e-Commerce solution. All I ask is for someone to sign up to my shop and put a test transaction through to see what it does. The Protx form is still set in test mode so no card details are kept. Please someone, have a look. I've helped out on here, now I'm asking a favour. http://www.lincs-it.co.uk/eshop It is back to default at the moment as I spent 8 hours adding my products only to find that it doesn't work. LincsIT Posted March 2, 2004 Author Posted March 2, 2004 I gather nobody knows then? 3 months at ?45 per month to accept credit cards and OS Commerce still doesn't work. I have downloaded it once again and re-installed a completely fresh copy PLUS installed a fresh copy of the Protx Form module. I cannot do anything else, Protx told me the OS Commerce support forums were the best place to visit for help with this problem :( Bret Inexperienced PHP User but will try anything for a laugh!
fastcom Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 wWw.lincs-it.cO.uk/eshop/checkOutprocess.php It should be www.lincs-it.co.uk/eshop/checkout_process.php I hope that jogs someones memory who may have seen this problem before. Cheers, Bret Hello Bret, As an official protx partner we recognize this symptom as being the protx password not correctly entered, if you received the password over the phone call them back and reconfirm the password. LincsIT Posted March 16, 2004 Author Posted March 16, 2004 Hi, Fantastic, thanks for that. It was as stupid as a lower case "o" where it should have been an upper case "O" After weeks of re-installing the shop, restoring the database and paying for a service I couldn't use you have finally put me out of my misery. Thank you! :D :D :D Bret Inexperienced PHP User but will try anything for a laugh!
