OK let me start by saying Im clueless to this stuff,but Im on a shoe string budget and I like what I see so far. I had my web host upload the cart to the server...and I sort of configured my admin area...Does this need to be on a SSL server thing?..dont laugh this is what you all have to deal with till I get going.Also do I need programming to configure my cart.....PLEASE say no...LOL.....Any and all advice will be SUPER DUPER... :blink:

Whether you need SSL or not depends on your payment processor. You'll need to decide how you want to process payments. Just starting out, you'll probably want to start with paypal until you get on your feet. For that, you dont' need an SSL.

 

As far as programming goes, that pretty much depends. If you like the way your cart looks right now, and really don't want to make any changes to design or functionality, then no, you won't need any programming, other than to manually modify a few language files to display the text.

 

If you do want to change the design or functionality, then yes, some fundamental php editing skills will be required.
