New UK Shop- Shipping problem

Hi Everyone,

 

Big Clap for all the switched on forum users who have the answers. :D

 

I'm just another want-to-be but willing to learn.

 

I have almost got my shopping cart ready to go live, I am happy with the presentation and can work on more customising later on, BUT. BIG BUT,

 

I want to use the Royal Mail Air Mail Service

as my basis for shipping costs for various zones around the world (4 Zones), all shipping options are given in grammes by the Royal Mail which I have entered in my zones.

eg. Zone 1 UK,GB

1:1.25,3:2.95,6:6.00,10:9.50,15:13.50,20:17.50

 

first option under 100 grammes costs ?1.25, second option under 300 grammes costs ?2.95 to ship to the UK.

 

My promblem is that if a customer checks out shipping is given in imperial "lbs"? I know I can change the item shipping weight of an item to compensate, ie adjust it by x 453.6 (Pounds to Grammes) or 0.002205 (Grammes to Pounds).

or whatever?

If I list an item weighing 0.99 grammes it costs ?1.25 to post to the UK, and the zone rate should be in grammes on check-out? but "lbs" are displayed on checkout? How do I change this?
