ecube Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 :( I have just installed OS Commerce v.2.2-MS2, the installation wasn't a problem. I was able to add a few items, but noticed that the prices are still set to 0. Has anyone come across this issue? How do I fix this problem? The shopping cart is located at www.shopclassy.com. Any help will be greatly appreciated. - K
Guest Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Did you created a new default currency? In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ? and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36 // if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used w$ define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD'); Change it to whatever you need HTH The_Bear
ecube Posted February 18, 2004 Author Posted February 18, 2004 Thank you. I have modified the line and changed it to the following. // if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used when changing language) define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'CDN'); The prices are still set to zero. You were correct in assuming that I changed the currency and hit the update currency button.
ecube Posted February 18, 2004 Author Posted February 18, 2004 ;) Ok, I must really be tired, I tried to replace the currency with a duplicate and now I have 2 default currencies and I can't delete either one. I keep getting an error, the default currency can not be removed. Please set another currency as default and try again. Any thoughts? Fixed the problem by installing a new currency and removing the other ones.
Guest Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 I have got the same problem, all my currencies are showing up as 0, i tried to change the english.php line 36 to say GBP instad of USD, this did not work. You mentioned that "Fixed the problem by installing a new currency and removing the other ones" how did you do that? Cheers CM
ecube Posted February 26, 2004 Author Posted February 26, 2004 Keynet, Log into your admin area and move to localization (currencies), create a new currency and modify accordingly and place a check mark in the box labelled set as default and then click on insert and delete the others if you wish. DO NOT click on update currencies, that was my downfall. Good luck,
