Registration manager

Hi all,

First let me say osc rocks. And best of all it is free!

 

Now to my question:

I've done many searches on the forum and contributions looking for an easy way of controlling/managing what the user has to enter when they are registering on to the site. I remember seeing something about a registration manager contribution but looking through the contributions I've been unable to find it. I've seen purchase without an account contribution which I will most likely use but I also wanted to limit the information I'd be asking "would be" registered customers. I will most likely only ask them for email/username/pass and none of the other information. I'll have virtual products so no need for address etc.

 

So here is what I would like to know specifically:

 

1. how to entirly remove some of the questions during registration.

2. Make specific entries optional.

 

Can anyone either point me to the correct contribution or tell me which php's I'll need to modify to make it happen.
