I have a store set up and everything works except that no one knows what has been ordered. The orders are not being saved anywhere, I have been all over the admin area and can't find a setting or anything to lead me in the right direction. I am using the newest incarnation of OSC. PLEASE..NEED HELP URGENTLY!

I also forgot to mention(and this may be part of the issue) when you create an order and go through the process, once completed you have to re login?

No, just out of curiousity you might try disabling SSL to see if the order goes through (Make sure not to go live without SSL, plain text CC's is definitely a bad idea at best, a legal issue at worst)

I had exactly the same problem as you describe here, but "The orders are not being saved anywhere" is not right. They are saved but maybe they dont show up because you didnt enter an "order status" over your configuration utility using the Admin panel. The same occured to me, after setting an "default status" all orders where shown up correctly.

Maybe this works for you also

I found that my problem had to do with the payment module I used. I found that if I removed everything from the eProcessingNetwork Payment Module then installed the EProcessing Network Emulated ADC, that fixed the majority of my problems. teknojunkey, your problems may not be the same that I have but give it a shot. I read through out the forums a while back of a few people having similar problems where the orders didn't show up but when they searched for a specific order it then showed up. Also, I was told to see if the C.O.D. module worked correctly and saved the order info...give that a shot, it may narrow down your options.

I had this problem too. What really cracked my cookie though was to see that

on an other PC, the orders showed up fine.

In the end what fixed it for mee was sheer luck:

Try changing the Language drop down in the admin area welcome screen,

back to the language it was set to when everything worked.

That did it for me. If this does not solve your problem, try looking it the

languages a bit more for a possible solution.

Good luck.

Thats because in the MS2 version there are to palces to change language. The default is in admin and I believe the other is in languages/english.php. It is hard coded for english and it messes up the system....

OK, here is what i am going through.

I built the OS commerce site last night, i have setup everything and got it online. I have checked the default box for orders.

I am still not able to see any orders, processing, pending, delivered. Nothing. i also have my site setup to deduct from inventory when something is purchased.... no deductions, as there have been no orders that the site can show me, though i have personally tested it by purchasing products.

What could i be missing? Do i need to enable cache and logging, since they are turned of by default? Should everything work anyway without that? I have zero issues with the site, it is running perfect aside of this one thing.

All my orders dissapear after they are purchased. no record of purchase, when i get my email from paypal, i don't get any information on what was purchased, so with no order record i am left with no idea what was purchased when paypal sends a money alert. it just says the name of my store.

i'll check back here but if anyone has any info please send it to [email protected] please. thank you.

WOOT! just answered my own question. anyone that does not have records of anything they have sold needs to enable the cache. works perfectly. this is set to OFF by default.

Question is what if you have orders that have already gone through but werent showing up before? I created a tmp directory on my server but it still doesn't show any of the previous orders. It's kind of important for me to have that information so that I can know whose ordered what... LOL

Ok I enabled the Cache and still cannot see any orders placed by customers.... This is REALLY frustrating to say the least. :)
