oscommerce and external data source

Hi

We are building a site that will be conetent managed(Java, Fatwire, Oracle).

However the E-commerce portion will be in oscommerce. we are trying to get the user to register once (record will be saved in the oracle DB).

is it possible for me to retieve the customer info from the oracle DB and use it to populate the order info.

I guess my problem can be summarized as follows

Customer info is stored in Oracle.

what would be the best way to handle this in oscommerce.?
