Guest Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 Hello all, We have a B&M store that makes kendo armour. We are located in Japan, but are planning on making an English online store for the foreign market. One thing super cool about our armour is that is is pretty much COMPLETELY customizable, in more ways then you can imagine. One of the major customizable portions is the LOOK. So instead of just text pulldown menus of the options I would like to provide a thumnail so the person can see what they are getting. Unfortunately this leads to really LONG pages. For easy consumption I have broken down all these choices into 4 major sections and am wondering if there is a contribution or some other way to have a customer start to build a set of armour for his/herself over a series of 4 pages so there isn't a MASSIVELY long page filled with options that ends up timing out by the time you get to the bottom. We also sell the pieces individually, so customers can check them out in the catalogue. But I would like them to have the choice to click on our (not yet patented) "Armour Builder" and go to customizing an entire set before placing it in the cart along side other bits and ends they may have shopped for. Any ideas? Cheers, Rusyn
