I have download off this site and add on plus other programs and they all seem to need GD Graphics. I have done phpinfo.php and can get all the stats.

There is GD Support listed below. So also does this mean GD Graphics are not on the server and must have GD GRAPHICS listed ???

GD Support enabled

GD Version bundled (2.0.15 compatible)

FreeType Support enabled

FreeType Linkage with freetype

GIF Read Support enabled

JPG Support enabled

PNG Support enabled

WBMP Support enabled

XBM Support

Also, is there another way besides editing the gif/jpg etc.. files and adding watermarks? There has to be a simple way to deal with this...

Thanks,

For those who might need this as I found out though other sites to find this information.

GD Graphics there are a few version that can be complie into php. If a hosting company is using an older version some fuctions will not work using GD Graphics code. Mostly working with image files. The newer version make sure you have the directory writeable. In most cases it will use that directory to write the file before display. Like for watermarks unless the program uses a path to a temp directory.

Why use this ?

Well people simply take graphics files off our site. Though OSCOMMERCE even though I disable right mouse click but there is still ways and they do get them.

So now, they will get the graphics but will have the watermark :D I am also going to use this fuction in my auction site, for users who upload pictures of their item(s). A simple watermark will hope stop people from stealing graphics or slow them down.

A simple program ( used it from here in the downlaods ) that any image used will have this graphics watermark and it is simple.

Well hope this helps someone for some kind of use
