Guest Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 I downloads oscommerce softare I just wanna play around with on my laptop and creat a dummy shop I downloaded apache and php and mysql all up and running i point my web browser at http://localhost/catalog/install/install when trying to install in the second page it ask for import database details what do i put in this box ? as i dont have a webhost or any other details Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
241 Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 When you installed MySQL did you also install phpMyAdmin? If you did install phpMyAdmin use it to create a blank database. you do not really require the install you could just copy the files to where you want then manually configure the configure.php files. the database details server either localhost or 127.0.0.1 server username is your choice as is password and the database name No longer giving free advice.
