I tried by using FTP, and right clicked on file (www.mydomain.com/shop/catalog/includes/configure.php), but there is no option to change the permission. How would I be able to change the permission from chmond 706 to chmond 777? the situation is listed below: the configuration files do not exist, or permission levels are not set. Please perform the following actions: * cd /home/kotlicit/public_html/shop/catalog/includes/ * touch configure.php * chmod 706 configure.php * cd /home/kotlicit/public_html/shop/catalog/admin/includes/ * touch configure.php * chmod 706 configure.php If chmod 706 does not work, please try chmod 777. theboi Posted February 14, 2004 Share Posted February 14, 2004 i am using WS_FTP Pro 5.08 version and I can change it, not sure why you couldn't, maybe upgrade your ftp program. go to the directory and find the file you wish to change, Right Click > chmod (UNIX) and check all the boxes and you'll get 777 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
