Remember the site is live; so only order if you want a new mobile phone.

If you have any recommendations or see any errors/issues please let me know. The site url is:

Thanks in advance!

Where's the powered by OSCommerce?

Without that, I'm sure this post won't be allowed to stay.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.

I think you should change the "upcoming products" to fit in better with the rest of the page. It is nice and clean and that kind of stands out as looking like it shouldn't be there. HTH

I completely agree, but I primarily do what the client tells me. I will pass along the comment though. Thanks!

No contributions on either. Just me doing custom code. If enough people are interested I can make some contributions for these. They are rather simple though.

The red price boxes are a combination of css and hardcoded html tables around the code that pulls in the prices.

The tab boxes in the product info pages were primarily just renaming product_info.php into 3 additional pages. Then on each of those pages I pulled what I needed from the database and linked the tabs to the corresponding page.

Thanks.

yesudo.com, I'm going to be speaking with the owner after the weekend. I'll probably recommend it to look just like the above sections with a header, product thumb and coming soon information. Thanks for the input.

there are pros and cons to using this forum:

pros are obvious

one of the cons(can't think of any others) is seeing what other people have done and thinking yep I could use something similar on my site - which means my site is constantly changing - even when i think yep that's it.

Unfortunately a website will NEVER be complete, it's an entity the continually evolves.

Fortunately we know how to code and evolve with it. And hopefully get paid well to keep up.

Very nice site. The little details make the site shine. Well done. I just have one suggestion. Why go through all the trouble to customize the site and make it look original, and keep the stock oscommerce cart buttons? I would put some buttons that reflect the schema. Just a thought. But what do I know?

You appear to be using the Xsell Add to Cart v21 contrib. I have a question and an observation.

Question - I've implemented the same contrib and in my shopping_cart.php when I select a related item and click Update, the item is lost, not added to the cart. On your site it seems to work fine. Any suggestions?

Observation (issue?): on my site, when I do get the related item into the cart, it no longer appears as a recommended item, by design, since I'm already buying it. On your site, the list of recommended items does not seem to change even if you add it to the cart.

Gorgeous site. Thanks!

Dan,

Honestly, I've just read the included instructions and installed it. I've obviously modified it's placement and the look and feel but other than that nothing.

I did install the xSell update by yakseller though. Perhaps this inadvertantly "fixed" the "problem". Here is the contribution url:

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1808

And here is the support forum:

http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76548

Sorry to not be any more help.

Good luck!

Hi are you still thinking of making a contribution of the price tags?

Or can you tell me how you did this?
