theboi Posted February 13, 2004 Share Posted February 13, 2004 I've installed osCommerce on my hosting company's server and I can view it no problem but I've no idea how to change the category nor changing the picture on the osCommerce. Few Questions: 1) Is it possible to change the interface ? 2) Do I need to contact credit card companies to sign up for "On-line shopping" service so I can take Credit Card payments ? 3) Is there a graphical GUI that I can use to edit osCommerce? Also utilize the search feature of the forums as there is a huge amount of knowledge that has been shared from the most trivial to the most complex problems/questions. In a nut shell: 1. Yes 2. You will need a merchant account to accept CCs 3. Well not really you will need to become familiar with some basic HTML and the use of the stylesheet to make thigns look different. theboi Posted February 14, 2004 Author Share Posted February 14, 2004 hiya, I found the documents and read them and starting to get some idea of how to edit but it seems that my database is diff. than from the tutorials :( I don't got 'Catalog' the installation of my osCommerce was automatic when I click on 'Install this PowerTool' that was in my Control Panel of the hosting company provided.
